I’m more then certain this is a question along with many others that everyone has. How does God talk? Why can’t I ever hear “him”? Does God really talk to people?
These questions with ton and tons more run through the mind of almost everyone at some point and here I wanted to discuss this.
It’s extremely rare that God will communicate by words, the reason is because when you try to speak to God or God speaks to you, you both are immediately constricted by the limitation of words. Now with this being said this doesn’t mean God will never communicate this way it just means it’s rare.
In fact one way that God did communicate through words was in a dialogue with a guy name Neale Donald Walsch and Neale actually got all the dialogues down and wrote them into a book. Most of this information comes from his book. Quick link to check it out.
Anyways, most of God’s communication are done through feelings. As feelings is the language of the soul.
In the book it also states, “If you want to know what’s true for you about something, look to how you’re feeling about it.
Feelings are sometimes difficult to discover—and often even more difficult to acknowledge. Yet hidden in your deepest feelings is your highest truth.
The trick is to get to those feelings.”
At this point Neale wasn’t convinced probably how most of you are right now. But as I said early stick with me and it will all start to make sense. What I will do is touch on the main key parts but I highly recommend everyone grabbing this book and reading it.
So God told him that God also communicate by thoughts. Don’t get the two confused thoughts and feelings are not the same. Even though they can happen at the same time. When communicating with thought God uses images and pictures for that reason thoughts are more effective then words.
God also uses the bridge of experience as a communicator but when they all fail that’s when God will use words.
You see words are the least effective way to communicate because of what words are. “They are most open to misinterpretation, most often misunderstood.
And why is that? It is because of what words are. Words are merely utterances: noises that stand for feelings, thoughts, and experience. They are symbols. Signs. Insignias. They are not Truth. They are not the real thing.
Words may help you understand something. Experience allows you to know. Yet there are some things you cannot experience. So I have given you other tools of knowing. And these are called feelings. And so too, thoughts.”
Now see the funny thing is everyone has placed so much importance on, “The word of God” and slim to none on the experience. So much importance on the word that when you experience something and it’s different from what you’ve heard, everyone automatically go with that they heard instead of what they experience when it should be the other way around.
“Your experience and your feelings about a thing represent what you factually and intuitively know about that thing. Words can only seek to symbolize what you know, and can often confuse what you know.”
Don’t get confused though not all thought, feelings, experiences, or words are from God.
“The challenge is one of discernment. The difficulty is knowing the difference between messages from God and data from other sources. Discrimination is a simple matter with the application of a basic rule:
Mine is always your Highest Thought, your Clearest Word, your Grandest Feeling. Anything less is from another source.
Now the task of differentiation becomes easy, for it should not be difficult even for the beginning student to identify the Highest, the Clearest, and the Grandest.”
So exactly what are the the Highest, Clearest, and Grandest?
I’m glad you asked!
God gave us a guideline that follows:
“The Highest Thought is always that thought which contains joy. The Clearest Words are those words which contain truth. The Grandest Feeling is that feeling which you call love.”
This is how you can tell the difference in a message. Even this one. So far do you feel like this is a lie or some make believe story? This is the clearest truth that will open your awareness about most of the question you held about life and God.
That was and will remain my mission, to bring you the clearest truth.
Until next time my loved ones until next time.
